Circuit training classes are in full swing at Warrington’s private training facility. If you’re unsure whether this type of training is right for you, read on to find out more about circuit training and the benefits it can have.
What is circuit training?
Circuit training incorporates a variety of exercises at separate stations, rotating between several exercises that target different muscle groups with short rests in between. Classes are taken in small groups and you get a dedicated Personal Trainer for the entire class to help improve your technique and correct your form.
Classes provide lots of variety
Circuit training gives you lots of variety, so you’ll never get bored. Not only is each class different, but the variety in each class will ensure that you work different muscle groups, and you move to a different station after you’ve completed the reps. Usually, there will be 8-10 exercises in a circuit, although this number can vary depending on which muscle groups are being targeted.
Circuit training keeps you motivated
One of the great things about circuit training is that exercises at each station are timed, with small rest periods factored in. It’s not like training on your own in the gym where you might lose focus and get bored. You’ll also have a Personal Trainer to keep you motivated and help you reach your goals so there’s no excuse for you not to perform your best.
Perfect for all levels
If you’re a beginner and not lifted many weights before, circuit training is a great starting point. Exercises can be made less challenging simply by lifting lower weights and focusing on the correct form. Beginners will be shown how to do each exercise by a dedicated Personal Trainer and coached throughout the class.
How often should I do circuit training?
Our membership packages allow you to train between 3 and 5 times per week, from £110 per month. This is the best way to see results and changes to your shape, fitness and strength.
Circuit training is a great way to help you get in shape, build muscle and improve your strength as you can work to your own ability and challenge yourself as you start to build strength and feel more confident.
