Mike Wood, Owner

For me, Health and Fitness isn’t just a career, it is a way of life. I have spent over 5 years gaining the highest standard of education in the field graduating from University of Chester in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree specialising in Exercise Physiology and Exercise Nutrition. I didn’t want to be just another generic Personal Trainer fresh off a 12 week PT course. I am absolutely dedicated to ensuring I provide the highest standards in service and quality so my clients can enjoy the rewards of living a healthy lifestyle. I take a great deal of pride in my work and truly believe that the services we offer at Ultimate Fitness Cheshire are the best form of private health care money can buy (Prevention is better than cure right)? This is not Personal Training as you know it. It is so much more.

My mission here at Ultimate Fitness Cheshire is to create the very best fitness experience I can by empowering the members in a way I feel is sustainable to both their physical and mental wellbeing. 

I am a professional fitness coach with global experience. My mission has always been to develop and inspire others to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

I draw on my experience in top level sport, management, coaching and education to create and deliver a fitness programme designed to get you to where you want to be. 

Working with you to improve your fitness, health and wellbeing is my passion. I deliver sessions that are personal and designed specifically for you. They are challenging, rewarding and fun, regardless of where you are on your fitness journey.

Lois Blower, Nutrition Consultant 

Lois has always had a keen interest in health and food, which led her to complete a Masters (MSc) at Chester University in Public Health Nutrition in 2007.
She has since worked for the Public Health Sector in weight management for nearly 13 years, helping people to manage their medical conditions through maintainable lifestyle changes.
Food is not only fuel for living, but also used for pleasure, comfort, socialising, as a reward, and when we’re bored. Striking a balance between both pleasure and health can be difficult, filled with complications and confused by marketing messages and years of dieting.
Lois can help provide the tools, accountability and motivation to embrace a healthy way of living through the foods that you enjoy and the lifestyle that you lead.
What does she enjoy doing?
In her spare time she is often found in the great outdoors either hiking or mountain biking.
She is the proud owner of a little spaniel, aka Gorgeous George. They love nothing more than leisurely strolls at the weekend followed by brunch in one of their favourite cafes!

Being an avid foodie, she always make time for cooking.  She is a firm believer that our meals should not only be nutritious but also delicious!
